Does HandleHQ Help Set Up My Channel?
What setup help is included?
Yes, with clear steps rather than a call. After payment your account is created and activated automatically. The welcome email gives you a set-password link and your own HandleHQ address (ending in @in.handlehq.net) with steps for Gmail and Outlook, and you forward the email address your customers write to. No code is needed.
You do not need to prepare code or learn a technical tool first. Owners pick their business type in settings, from 30 pre-configured types, and can store business facts such as hours, prices and policies. There is no tone or persona setting.
If you get stuck on a step, email the founder, who answers support email himself. As general preparation, decide which address to forward, gather relevant business information, and write down your questions. These are suggestions, not HandleHQ requirements.
Which channels can be set up?
Email is the only live channel today, so email is what you connect. WhatsApp is not available to connect yet. HandleHQ is working on it next, but there is no launch date. Instagram and website chat are not yet available.
For general planning, note where your customers already message you, what information they usually include, and which address you want HandleHQ to handle. You can also note the languages your customers use. The assistant is tested in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu. Other languages may work but are not tested or promised.
How should I prepare for setup?
You do not need to become a technical expert. Before you start, write a short description of your business, the people you serve and the questions you often receive. You may also list any hours, prices or policies that matter to your business, since these can be stored as business facts.
Use those notes as prompts rather than a finished technical document. Use them to write your business facts in plain language and check that the important points are covered. The goal is a setup that reflects your business rather than a generic checklist.
It can also help to pick one or two questions you most want answered. For example, you might decide which email address to forward, who will review tickets, or which business facts to store first.
Keep the welcome email handy until forwarding works. If a team member will help with tickets after setup, share your notes with that person when practical.
What happens after the setup?
Once your email is forwarding, the assistant replies to customer emails automatically, at any hour. It asks for missing details, recaps them, and creates a ticket once the customer confirms. Each ticket appears in your portal with an AI summary and a drafted reply you can edit, copy and send from your own email.
AI replies can be wrong, and owners are responsible for supervising them, so check new tickets and drafts closely in your first days. If you have questions about how a type of message will be handled, email the founder.
The founder answers support email himself and aims to reply within one business day.
