Getting started
Does HandleHQ Require Code?
No. No code is needed, and no call is needed either. After payment your account is created and activated automatically. The welcome email gives you a set-password link and your own HandleHQ address (ending in @in.handlehq.net) with steps for Gmail and Outlook, and you forward the email address your customers write to.
What “no code” means for your business
You do not need to write scripts, install anything or run a technical project. Email is the only live channel today, and you connect it yourself by forwarding your support email to your HandleHQ address.
WhatsApp is the next channel HandleHQ is working on, and there is no launch date yet. Instagram and website chat are not yet available.
“No code” describes the technical setup only. AI replies can be wrong, and the Terms say owners are responsible for supervising them. So you or your team still need to understand how customer messages are handled and agree on who reviews tickets and drafted replies.
How to prepare for onboarding
You do not need technical documents or programming knowledge. It helps to bring clear, practical answers about how your business works.
Before you start, consider writing down:
- Your regular business hours
- The prices you are happy for the assistant to share
- Your important policies
- The questions customers ask most often
- Topics that always need a person to confirm
You can store business facts such as hours, prices and policies in the portal. When a customer asks a question that closely matches a stored fact, the assistant answers with that fact. When nothing matches, the assistant tells the customer the owner will confirm. Matching works on topic and wording, so a question worded differently may not match.
Each business type also comes with guardrails. The assistant does not quote prices it has not been given, does not promise stock or availability it cannot confirm, and does not commit the business to anything.
If something must always be confirmed by a person, plan to check those conversations yourself. Clear wording in your stored facts may help, but matching still depends on how a customer phrases the question.
You do not need every answer written perfectly in advance. Bring what you know. You can add to your stored business facts later in the portal settings.
What your team should expect after setup
When a customer email arrives, the assistant replies automatically, at any hour. It asks for any missing details, recaps them back to the customer, and creates a ticket once the customer confirms. It is tested in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu. Other languages may work but are not tested or promised.
Each ticket includes a short AI summary, a headline and a drafted reply. You can edit the draft in the portal, copy it and send it from your own email. If a customer asks for a person, the assistant stops writing replies and answers further messages with a short notice that a member of staff will reply. You can also pause the assistant on any conversation and reply yourself.
A simple team agreement can help:
- Decide who reviews tickets and drafts during business hours.
- Identify messages that always need a staff member’s attention.
- Set a plan for questions involving prices, policies or sensitive customer issues.
- Make sure staff know a draft reply can be edited before it is sent.
- Review unclear answers and update your stored business facts.
These are general habits, not extra technical steps. They help your team use drafted replies consistently while keeping people involved where judgment matters.
How to know if no-code onboarding fits you
No-code onboarding may fit you if you would rather forward your email and add your business facts than build and maintain a system yourself. It may also suit you if you do not want a technical project, custom scripts or a developer involved in the setup.
Before beginning, you should still be ready to explain:
- What your business does
- Which email address your customers write to
- What information staff use to answer questions
- What the assistant must never promise
- How your team prefers to review drafts and manage conversations
HandleHQ is in early access and is onboarding its first customers. Early access customers get direct contact with the founder, keep their early access price for as long as they stay subscribed, and their feedback shapes what is built next. If you want to confirm anything for your business, ask when you apply or email the founder.
